Jagr wants to skate with the Red Army...OK, the team will miss him, but maybe its for the best. Fedor and Back(bleep)man for large young fowards sounds great; especially with Redden coming on board. Makes great sense. BUT...I find it unfathomable that Slats couldn't find the dough to keep such a popular and productive player as Avery in Blue. I know that this is a question that 99.9% of Ranger Fans are asking. It would be nice to get an answer from the GM on this, because one is left with the impression that it was an ego problem between Sean and Glen. Until an honest explanation is forthcoming, it seems the only losers are the Rangers and the Fans. I hope Renny can continue to work his majick and mold this new team into an honest contender.
